My profession
My profession is a violinist. I choose it because I love music since I was a child.
Being a musician has many benefits like travel to a lot of diferents places, met people
from diferents parts of the world, and of diferents ages.
I like my career because studing something linked to art makes you a diferent person. We are persons more sensitive and we are conected with others types of arts, like painting, theater, dance, etc
One thing that you must be willing to do if you want to study music is to invest all you time in practice, because the discipline is the most important thing in this career.
If you manage to have a good level with your instrument, you could work in a good orquestra. To work in an orquestra you have to make an audition, generally a lot of people goes to orquestra auditions. I would like to work in a orquestra, I think is a beautiful work.
Actually in Chile the level of the conservatories is not so good, but you can get an option to go to audition to the foreign. Another option is that you can get your degree in Chile and make a Master in other country when you can find a better level.
Some musicians have the vocation to teach. I think is very important for the formation of childrens to have good teachers. I would like to learn how to teach childrens, specially by the Suzuki method.
